University ball hockey

Czech ball hockey players have recently been contacted to find out how many of them are university students. The CBHF is striving to include hockey among university sports.

This effort could lead to participation in Czech Association of University Sports (CAUS) events and the possibility of winning scholarships for some hockey players.

Negotiations with the CAUS are still ongoing and we are trying to be included in the list of university sports. However, it is important to show how strong our base is. The first event we would like to organize for university students is a 3 + 1 tournament, which would take place on January 29 or February 5 in one of the hockey or inflatable halls.

The event would be the first opportunity to meet all those interested in these tournaments, mutual communication and finding a way to a common goal. In the autumn, the zero Academic Ball Hockey Championship of the Czech Republic would be held, which could convince the representatives of CAUS that we are ready to officially participate in the first year.
