Czech referees welcomed new striped member in their ranks

Due to the pandemic and the decline in the last two seasons, the referees are starting to become an endangered species, so they decided to expand their team with a new individual with the same problem.

There are not many referees and, like their "striped relatives" zebras, they could be considered an endangered species.

During the Junior Program Camp for young referees, organized by CBHF on 23-24 October in Ústí nad Labem, the ball hockey "zebras" decided to adopt a new member in their ranks, when they financially supported the breeding of their striped colleagues from the animal kingdom in the local zoo.

"The new season brought an expected decrease in the number of referees, and although the situation is slowly getting back to normal, we are happy for every new striped reinforcement," commented the participants of the event with the exaggeration.

In the end, young referees like her new adoptive parents contributed a beautiful amount of CZK 10,000 to Hartmann's zebra breeding.
