2025 Junior Ball Hockey World Championship Reveals Full Schedule

The global celebration of junior ball hockey is fast approaching! The World Championship in the U16 and U23 categories will take place from June 25 to 29, 2025, at the ČPP Arena and its surroundings in Hradec Králové.
Czech Team to Play on Opening Day
The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, June 25, with a morning game between Canada and the United Nations (U23), followed by Great Britain vs. Slovakia. The Czech U16 "White" team will open the tournament for the home nation with a game against Great Britain. At the same time, Hungary will face Switzerland, followed by the Czech U16 "Red" team taking on Canada. The evening will culminate in a showdown between the Czech U23 team and the USA.
On Thursday, all categories will be in action again. The day will begin with the Czech U23 team facing Great Britain. Fans can also look forward to a “federal derby” between the Czech "White" U16 squad and Slovakia. The evening matchups include United Nations vs. Czech Republic (U23) and Hungary vs. Canada (U16).
Friday’s schedule will feature the debut of the Czech U16 girls' team, who will take on Slovakia. The Czech U16 boys' "White" team will play against the USA, while the "Red" team meets Hungary. The highlight of the day will be the evening clash between the Czech U23 team and Canada.
Saturday, June 28, will bring the first playoff matches in the U16 category, and the U14 category will join the tournament with friendly games between the Czech and Slovak teams. The U23 round-robin will conclude with the traditional showdown between the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The grand finale of the championship will take place on Sunday, the medal day. The U16 bronze medal match starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the U23 bronze game at 11:45 AM. The U16 final begins at 2:30 PM, and the U23 final will close out the tournament at 5:30 PM.

Games will take place in the ČPP Arena and adjacent sports venues within its complex. A lively fan zone will be available, offering opportunities to try out various sports skills, meet ball hockey stars, and enjoy accompanying entertainment.
